VAWG and the Latin American Community: Best Practices for providing support (English)

This training is designed for professionals who are likely to come into contact with Latin American women victim/survivor of domestic abuse and harmful practices and want to know more about how to respond appropriately. We will be looking at case studies, statistics, legislation, the barrier to seek protection, best practice and effective referral pathways.

Our aim is to improve service provision for those affected by sexual and domestic violence.

– Have better awareness of Domestic Abuse and its effects
– Understand the barriers to Latin American women accessing services
– Learn good practices in dealing with DA situations
